To Go Travel Kits.

Bringing our own cutlery cuts down onon the plastic cutlery we generate from eating on the go. Yes there are now biodegradable cutlery on the matket, though not all facilities accept this biodegrade cutlery in their composring facilities so they still end up in the landfills.

There are two kit options available.  You can purchase the kit with the bamboo cutlery, straw, straw cleaner and napkin, or you can purchase the case itself with no added cutlery or straw or napkin so you can add your own.

The pouch itself is 7" wide x 13.5" long when open and 1.5-2" wide x 8" long when rolled up. The pouch has 2 strings on the side that wrap around and tie it shut.

The sizing of the cutlery in the pouch are as follows:

Fork: 8" long, 1/2" wide handle, 1" 4 prong top

Spoon: 8" long, 1/2" wide handle, 1.5" spoon

Knife: 8" long, 1/2" handle, 3/4" blade

Bamboo Straw: 8" long, 1/2" diameter

Napkin: 6" x 8" (made from 100% Egyptian Cotton)

*If you intend on bringing these with you on a trip that requires air travel, then we recommend using bamboo cutlery, as metal cutlery will not make it past security.

When buying just the pouch it will fit in your metal utensils nicely and or you can even use it for packing make up brushes.

These kits area  nice small size perfect for placing in lunch kits, purses, backpacks, glove compartments in a vehicle, or even in your carry on luggage bag.

Be sure to rinse/wash your cutlery well before placing back in the pouch to avoid food crumbs from building up and possibly spoiling. If you are in an area where it is not possible to give it a full wash at that time, once you get home wash the cutlery and either hand wash the cutlery pouch inside out to be sure all the crumbs are gone, or machine wash and dry the pouch before your next adventure.

If you already bring a to go mug or reusable shopping bags, why not add this to your tool kit to further reduce plastics when you are on the go.
